Enhancing the history and heritage of the Atlantic trade of enslaved peoples and slavery
The association Les Anneaux de la Mémoire has been developing cultural projects showing the history and heritage of the Atlantic trade of enslaved peoples and colonial slavery for over thirty years.
The association creates exhibitions, publishes books, and implements cultural and artistic projects at the local and international level in close collaboration with a large number of cultural actors, researchers and activists. The Anneaux de la Mémoire also assists project leaders in the development of heritage sites and the creation of mediation tools.

The activities of the association
Since 1991, The Anneaux de la Mémoire has developed numerous projects at the local and international levels.
Exhibitions, publications, exchanges, enhancement of heritage and transmission of history, the diversity and eclecticism of our projects reflect the work of memory that we carry out and its importance in developing balanced and equitable relations between the 3 continents: Africa, Europe and the Americas.
